[Bug 590025] [NEW] Nautilus does not open windows in Ubuntu 10.04 VM in VirtualBox 3.2.2

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: nautilus

1) lsb_release -rd
Description:	Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Release:	10.04

2) apt-cache policy nautilus
nautilus:
  Installed: 1:2.30.1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1:2.30.1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1:2.30.1-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1:2.30.0-0ubuntu4 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages

3) What I expected to happen is when I click "Places" then "Computer" it
opens with no problem.

4) What happens instead is when I click on "Places" then "Computer",
"Starting Computer" appears in the bottom taskbar, then "Starting File
Manager" appears briefly then disappears. After a few more seconds
"Starting Computer" disappears but the Computer window does not open.

This is my second time installing a Ubuntu 10.04 VM in VirtualBox 3.2.2
where problems occurred. The first time was from a known good iso
downloaded from www.ubuntu.com, then burned CD, hash verified. This time
was with the desktop iso downloaded straight from www.ubuntu.com
