Yes, last news on glipper was back in 07!  Seems as though the
parcellite has just announced that it will no longer be maintained
either as of (April 2010).  I too have abandonded the glipper route and
settled with parcellite.  Sure hope either someone picks up parcellite,
or something else comes a long.  You would have to think that if glipper
has not been touched since 2007, it probably would have a security hole
or something.  Perhaps not, but I would think it would.
