Hi Nish,

I think I have found what I needed and I have made a patched version of dmraid and uploaded to my ppa.
This will affect the way that it detects the pdc raids so please make sure you have everything backed up (its probably best done from a live CD).

If it works as I expect it will you should now be able to see your full 2.5TB array.
After installing could you please post the output of `dmraid -ay -d` and `dmraid -s`

If this patch does work I do need more testing.

If you are able to it would be nice if you could destroy your two arrays
(this will obviously destroy all your data) and create a single total
4.5TB array. This is because I am unsure that I have found the correct
data location in the metadata and a 4.5TB array would indicate if I have
found it or not.

If you do decide to create the 4.5TB array could you also upload the
metadata dumped using dmraid. (whether it works or not)
