[Bug 548992] Re: Wireless connection frequently drops [deauthenticating by local choice (reason=3)]
I seem to have this problem too on a Thinkpad X201s running 64-bit Lucid
with all the updates, except that I'm currently using the 2.6.32.22
kernel. Wireless is dropped at some point, from hours to minutes,
especially after coming out of suspend. Sometimes the connection is
recovered once or twice, but usually it stays dropped until a reboot.
Just a side note for anyone who may not know exactly how to add the ipv6
line: open /etc/default/grub as sudo (eg sudo nano /etc/grub/default),
and alter this line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash ipv6.disable=1"
