Have the same issue here with L300, first suspend/hibernate works ok,
next time blank screen. I relly don't know why this bug is in "Won't
Fix" status. It's really frustrating as supend/hibernate works
flawlessly under Windows. None of fixes suggested here made it work.
10.04 final, kernel 2.6.32-24-generic #38-Ubuntu. I am willing to
experiment to get it working.
