[Bug 605597] Re: gcalctool crashed with SIGSEGV in __strlen_sse2()

@unnilenni: That's not what I'm seeing: I can ctrl+c and ctrl+v just
fine, I'm only seeing a crash after a ctrl+v without there ever having
been a ctrl+c (clipboard is empty, or non-existent, or undefined, or
whatever).

This issue still exists for me after having updated to
gcalctool_5.31.6-0ubuntu1. That update fixed bug 605602 however, so the
steps to reproduce the crash have changed a little:

1. Login to a fresh session.
2. Start gcalctool.
3. Open your text editor, and write down some number, e.g. 123.
4. Without having copied anything yet, paste into gcalctool using ctrl+v. Result: segfault. This can be repeated ad infinitum.
5. Finally, copy the number using ctrl+c (filling the clipboard for the first time), and paste into gcalctool using ctrl+v. Result: 123 is pasted as it should, and there aren't any segfaults ever after.

In other words: using the middle-mouse button won't cause the crash
anymore.
