Just one silly question:

Why is the changelog listed in comment #4 exactly like the one that I
uploaded to Debian, with all comments and even the date, time and
timezone of my own, but with my name nowhere in that changelog? Am I
missing something?

While the program is in the Public Domain my packaging isn't.
