Reading through the Gnumeric documentation on the website, I found this:
"One thing in particular that we would like is a set of workbooks that
use features that you would like to have working. If you can help with
this, please file an enhancement bug ... ." I have filed that
enhancement bug as https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=628888 .
