I have all similar problems with Dell Inspiron 1150 intell 82852
graphics card.  But one additional.

Had black screen in 10.4
Had mouse not visible problem in all 10.10 alpha versions and in beta.

I upgraded to the partial upgrade after installing beta version from
scratch on 9/13/10 at 1:00AM MST  and now I boot into console mode, no
graphics found.
