You're probably talking about 915resolution from http://915resolution
.mango-lang.org/
However, the chipset of the U160 is not supported (last update of
i915resolution was in 2007) and the author hasn't (yet) responded.
Even if it would be supported, I don't think it would lead us to
anything useable. I tried to bypass the chipset detection and forced it
to detect a 915G. It then actually finds a couple of modes, but none
that matches the resolution of the panel:
Mode 30 : 640x480, 8 bits/pixel
Mode 32 : 800x600, 8 bits/pixel
Mode 34 : 1024x768, 8 bits/pixel
Mode 38 : 1280x1024, 8 bits/pixel
Mode 3a : 1600x1200, 8 bits/pixel
Mode 3c : 1920x1440, 8 bits/pixel
(and then all of the above resolutions with 16 and 32 bits/pixel).
