I can confirm this happening on an HP DV5 1132la when pressing the
touchpad enabla/disable button.

"gconftool --type bool --set
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/touchpad_enabled true" does not work
in Ubuntu 10.10 final!!! HELP!!
