+ ------------------------------------------
+
  Upstream Debian bug #577501 -- http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
  bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=577501

Upstream bug report includes patch (attached here); new package version
1.1.7-2 in sid with fix included.

  "Package: irssi-plugin-silc
  Version: 1.1.7-1
  Severity: important

Ever since upgrading irssi to 0.8.15, the SILC plugin has not worked.
  The error appears like this:

  0. Have irssi-plugin-silc installed
  1. In any irssi window, say "/load silc"
  2. Witness the following error
- 11:07 -!- Irssi: Error loading module silc/core:
- /usr/lib/irssi/modules/libsilc_core.so: undefined symbol:
- server_setup_find_port
+ 11:07 -!- Irssi: Error loading module silc/core:
+           /usr/lib/irssi/modules/libsilc_core.so: undefined symbol:
+           server_setup_find_port
  11:07 -!- Irssi: Loaded module silc/fe

Rebuilding the plugin against irssi 0.8.15 sources doesn't seem to
help. At a quick glance, I can't see any changelog entries in either
irssi or silc-plugin that could have caused this."
