Stil an issue on 10.10 (libglib2.0-0 2.26.0-0ubuntu1 and emacs23
23.1+1-4ubuntu7).

I it is really irritating, and although I understand there are so and so
many more important issues, it does not make this issue invalid or go
away.

Don't you have a "WONTFIX" state which you can use when priority and
resources concerns results in valid issues being dropped?
