[Bug 668713] Re: Error message when I start my computer
** Description changed:
Hello from France,
When I start my computer (Laptop ASUS F5RL) sometimes this message appear and I can't log it :
- [drm:vs400_gart_adjust_size] *ERROR* Forcing to 32M GART size (because of ASIC bug?)
+ [drm:vs400_gart_adjust_size] *ERROR* Forcing to 32M GART size (because of ASIC bug?)
- I must force the switch off of my computer and when I re-start, it is OK.
+ I must force the switch off of my computer and when I re-start, it is OK.
It happens 1 time out of 5 on average.
I precise I have a ATI RADEON XPRESS 1100 graphic card. I have found
nothing in the different topics I visited.
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. I have no other OS on my computer.
When I first started to use the 10.04 release in september 2010, this
problem didn't exist. It has appeared on october 2010 (because of an
update ???)
Thanks a lot and go on with this great OS.
