Message #28542
[Bug 614914] Re: Please port libva 1.0.4 from Debian experimental
** Description changed:
- I noticed a single package which could provid a huge performance boosts
- for VLC, FFMPEG, mplayer, along with other video playback libraries and
- programs was missing from the maverik repository. The performance boost
- is because libva provides gpu assisted video decoding to improve
- performance on slower computers.
+ libva (1.0.4-1) experimental; urgency=low
- Debian Package:
+ * New upstream release.
+ * Fix bad names for library packages.
+ * Update Standards-Version to 3.9.1. No changes needed.
+ * Include TPI and GLX libraries. (Closes: #592070)
+ * Have dev package also depend on new TPI and GLX library packages.
- Original Source: (Latest is v1.0.4, mainly contains bug fixes)
