1): When I type a line, a paragraph, fill in the blanks of a form, I
expect to have clean copy. However, the machine skipoundars and needs
cleaning up before I send it on to you just like in this lineski.more

To answer your question, all I do is type comments, or type a letter and the problem occurs.

2): I expect clean copy that I do not  have  to correct all the time. This particular line required ten or
  more corrections.

3): The problem is so acute I hate to think what would happen if. I had
to type up a term paper in linux because this problem has occurs in
every distro that has ever been installed on this computer. Intrepid was
the first distro installed, as well as Jaunty, Karmic, Lucid, and now,
Maverick. Current Op System is Shackbox Ubuntu 10.10. (Shackbox Air
Amateur Radio Linux).
