[Bug 560839] Re: error: too small lower memory (0x99100 > 0x98400)

I am affected by this error in memtest86+, too. I get exactly the same error message:

error: too small lower memory (0x99100 > 0x98400)

This is a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick, AMD64, all software
patches installed.

Motherboard is a Gigabyte MA-770T-UD3
CPU is a AMD Athlon II X2 250
4 GB of DDR3 1066 ram in two modules of 2GB each.

I will now try to upgrade my motherboard bios firmwire to see if that
helps.
