No indeed, it is not needed to be set to location. This option is used
for parser functions. If you set it to "Location", module assumes, that
particular parser should be loaded from that specific location.

This misunderstanding is due to lack of complete documentation...

For template there are three options:
1) attach the file to binary field;
2) provide path to the place where module can find the template;
3) use get_template function if you want to override default functionality and load template from any place you desire.

Bug description:
In Trying to assign a fixed path to the location of the .odt template I set "State of the Parser" to "Location" as I figured this would be required. Doing so I end up with this exception. If this is an error on using the module it still would be nice to get a better message to explain the cause.

Thx, the module looks very promising.
