[Bug 676181] Re: Changing server in openoffice extension

I am sorry, but this project has nothing related to the Report Designer,
which is sometimes falsely named like OpenOffice.org reporting. In
essence it is just Report Designer for ReportLab RML format, so you
should perceive it as UI for RML reports (SXW->RML->PDF). Real OOo
reports you can create only with software developed under this project
or the one from Pexego, still this one has more features.

More on this topic you can read here:
http://www.alistek.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=99&sid=60b9bfdec17e64ae92c5ff04f6bc1bc2

The only difference since then, that now it has been released under GPL.

Status in OpenOffice.org Reporting Engine for OpenObject: New

Bug description:
When you try to change the server in the openoffice word processor extension OpenERP report designer - it does not work.

The only way I have found in order to change which server I want to work with is to:

-remove the openerp_report_designer.zip extension in openoffice
-edit the file OpenERPReport.py in the zip to point to the server of choice
-Rezip
-Reinstall the openerp_report_designer.zip as an extension in openoffice.

In my case I replaced all occurrences of http://localhost:8069 to the server-ip and port that I wanted to access.
(5 occurrences in total - don't know if all needs to be changed though)

Each time I need to make a report change on new server I have to do the same process again.
