I didn't used any specific openssl.cnf in my example. It defaulted to
the system /etc/ssl/openssl.cnf I suppose. I didn't changed it. It is
the one provided by Gentoo Linux.

No additional message after this one? What is the exit status of the
iprohc_client process?
