Sorry, I made a mistake while writing this part of the installation
manual. Support for Cygwin is only for future versions >= 1.6.0 of the
library. Version 1.6.0 is not released yet: in the meanwhile please use
the main dev branch on Bazaar.

I added a note in the installation manual to avoid confusing users:
