Hi Matt,

Actually, that's pretty much exactly what "Interventions" is designed to do.

You can set goals and send updates about them to stakeholders related
to the student -- parents, advisor, teachers, administrators.  It
sends emails and also can be accessed through the web (although there
are no parent web accounts yet).
