Hi David,

Several users have reported success forcing the installation of the 32 bit
package on 64 bit systems. There's some information about that here:

Scratch runs on a Squeak virtual machine. It should be possible to install
the 64 bit Squeak VM and change the Scratch startup script so as to use it
instead of the 32 bit vm we include with the package. That thread has more
info about this as well.

Let us know how it goes - we haven't heard of LTSP based configurations with
Scratch.
