After I get setup on Maverick, I may do a new build to incorporate a few
changes that should make it easier to install on Debian...

I built the packages for Maverick, uploaded them to my personal PPA, and

I made no changes other than adding an entry to the changelog for the
maverick release, so it should be quite straightforward for you to
release an updated version on your PPA.
