Tsung-Hsiang Chang proposed the following answer:
If there's any indicator (such as a check mark) that shows typing username is done, you can use wait() to wait for that indicator.
Another way is to us TAB to switch focus to the next text field, so you can make sure the TAB key is sent after the username.
