[Question #160807]: License

New question #160807 on Sikuli:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/160807

Hi,

My team is currently working on the Automation of a web based application that has embedded Flash objects. We are currently evaluating several tools available in the market (including Selenium-Flash integration).

We have currently integrated the sikuli-script.jar within an existing Selenium project, and have managed to successfully invoke image based sikuli scripts from our proprietary Selenium framework. Having given a brief background of the kind of work being performed, I have 2 questions to ask:

Question # 1 - It is an observation that the the scripts do not work without the Sikuli Installation. Is the installation mandatory for the sikuli .jars to function as expected?

Question # 2 - Since the installation is always required, is the installation tied to any sort of licensing? Would the setup expire after a future date, thereby rendering the jar files unusable?

Thanks in advance.

-Milo.
