[Bug 797618] Re: Copy-paste images doesn't work occasionally in Sikuli IDE
this is a bit tricky:
to prepare an image for ctrl-c you have to select it either with the
mouse or with keyboard (cursor before image, shift-rirghtArrow)
there are some situations (e.g. coming back from preview) where the
image thumbnail seems to be selected, but is not for ctrl-c..
I do not have problems with this neither on OS X 10.6 nor on Win 7.
So please check again and in case it seems to be a valid bug, try to
define the "occasions".
In general I think the IDE should allow some right-click option menu (a reminder for request bug ;-):
- copy image/pattern
- paste image/pattern
- set minimum similarity (enter value without preview)
- set target offset (enter x and y without preview)
- crop image

1. Open some script in Sikuli IDE
2. Copy-paste any image using either menu item or ctrl-c/ctrl-insert
Problem:
Space is inserted instead of image.

Windows XP SP3
Sikuli X 1.0 RC2
