[Question #171026]: How to get screen resolution?
New question #171026 on Sikuli:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/171026
I'm writing a test script and have looked at all the possible Windows commands that might tell me what my display configuration is set to, but I can't figure it out. I'm hoping someone here has done this before.
Basically, we want to test with the "default" windows setup (Windows 7 Aero theme, Personalize->Display->Smaller), but also be able to test Medium to be sure the application handles the larger font size on the screen.
I already found that images captured with Smaller aren't found on Medium, and vice versa.
Aside from using Sikuli to open the control panel (which requires knowing what font size) and look at the settings, is there any other way? I was hoping systeminfo would have it, but it doesn't. And I can't seem to find the user specific settings (if they are in the registry, domain security policies prevent me from accessing the registry, even just to read).
Maybe we just should add it as a script argument.
