If you are working with rc3, then you might have a problem like that
detailed in faq 1766

So you should first download the newest build r930.

If this does not help, you have to find out, where Java stores the Sikuli preferences, like mentioned in the faq for mac and windows.
I have no idea for Linux. If you find them, delete the part, that belongs to Sikuli.
