RaiMan proposed the following answer:
Any adjustments to the monitor settings does not have any influence on
Sikuli's functionality, since it is only a video adjustment comparable
to the adjustments you make on a TV monitor.

What Sikuli influences are the settings that change the way, how the
system software displays visual elements (like window frames and
elements, color systems, backgrounds, buttons, ...) using the screen
buffer.
