I started this thread talking about regex because I had a bit of an
epiphany that day.. Everything I was doing so far in my implementation
was actually an mirror of what regex does for matching text based
patterns.

What I have implemented is powerful and works pretty damn good but I was
thinking this is probably not the complete solution. Creating a image
based expression language as a mirror of regular expressions might be
closer to the complete solution set.
