[Bug 920539] Re: X-1.0rc3: Mac: Sikuli crashes when Sikuli-IDE.app is renamed
Again: The problem is not the app itself, it is because of the native
dynamic link libraries placed in the apps folder Content/Frameworks/. If
this cannot be found, these are searches in some standard places in
/usr/local (where they normally will not be, since they are bundled with
Sikuli ;-).
As a workaround, you can copy Sikuli-IDE.app to Sikuli.app. In Sikuli-
IDE.bat you can delete everything except the folder Content/Frameworks
and this you could delete in Sikuli.app.
Another possibility might be to copy the content of Content/Frameworks
to /usr/local/lib (but I did not test it ;-). In this case it should not
be necessary to maintain a Sikuli-IDE.app/Content/Frameworks in
/Applications.

Title:
X-1.0rc3: Mac: Sikuli crashes when Sikuli-IDE.app is renamed
Status in Sikuli:
Confirmed
Bug description:
After renaming the "Sikuli-IDE" application bundle to anything else,
such as "Sikuli", the application no longer finishes launching. An
error dialog appears with the message, "Cannot launch Java
application": There is a "java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError" exception.
When the bundle is renamed back to "Sikuli-IDE", the problem is
resolved.
Here is a screenshot of the error: http://screencast.com/t/3eEjRhPi
This problem started with the latest version, 1.0rc3. Renaming the
bundle worked fine on 1.0rc2.
I am using Mac OS X Lion (10.7.2) with Sikuli 1.0rc3.
