Alan Dale is still having a problem:
I'm still not getting the results needed.  So I'm already using the HTML
test reporter so I'm using the imported features from unittest and also
running from command, only using the IDE to write the scripts.

Using the method above I can get common functions imported across
scripts, no problem.

Could i possibly send you the files i have so you can have a look at
what maybe i am doing wrong?
