The only example in this part:

type(Key.ESC, KeyModifier.CTRL + KeyModifier.ALT)
# or equivalent
type(Key.ESC, KeyModifier.CTRL | KeyModifier.ALT)

... and I think it is clear, that the modifiers are the second
parameter.
