I had considered using java robot, but wanted to avoid it if possible,
as I would have liked to make use of Sikuli's vision engine.

You mentioned this should be posted as a bug, and as I am not familiar
with Launchpad, should I leave this question as unsolved so it can be
linked to a bug, or?
