Sorry for the late reply, only came back to this recently.

So after some snooping I pointed my linux install to the correct Java
installation (only java was configured, not javac or javaws), however
the issue still happens.

Whenever I interact with the IDE it crashes \ hangs and can only be
closed by killing it.  I ran the sikuli-ide.jar in interact mode and
that seemed to work fine, with it allowing me to capture an image.

No crash logs are given in the terminal when this happens either.

Any ideas?

  Sikuli-ide crashes when interacted with in Ubuntu 11.04

Bug description:
  I've just install Sikuli on a new Ubuntu 11.04 system via it's zip
  file along with it's needed dependencies.  Sikuli-ide starts up as
  expected.  However as soon as I interact with the ide, e.g. select an
  item in a menu (Open) or even attempt to close the window it freezes \
  crashes and becomes completely unresponsive.

  I'm thinking it might be a dependency issue but as I say I've
  installed the required ones already.

  Any help would be brilliant.  Cheers!
