Re: [Question #206445]: Win7 the IDE seems to crash quickly --- Java 7 not supported

Question #206445 on Sikuli changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/206445

    Status: Answered => Open

Rod Caverly is still having a problem:
I uninstalled java 7
then I uninstalled java 6
then I REBOOTED
then I installed Java 6
The user tab on the Java Console looks like this... There aren't any references to Java 7
Platform/product/location/path/runtime parameters enabled

1.6     1.6.0_25        http://java.sun.com/products/autodl/j2se
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe                true

the System tab looks like this...

1.6     1.6.0_25        http://java.sun.com/products/autodl/j2se
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe                true

I still get an immediate crash of the IDE when either take picture or
create region are called...

In task manager, under processes, "javaw.exe" continues to run as a
process and a new one is launched each time I start the Sikuli IDE.
