Just a note to add to the same bug: I have tried all the recommendations that were mentioned in other posts:
1- Removed java 7 and installed java 6 (made sure it is the one called in the command line).
2- re-installed sikuli.
3- removed any related registry keys.
4- opened using bat and exe files (both are not working).

However, sikuli is working if I directly click on the jar file ( I
analyzed the call from the bat file and I am getting an error : Unable
to access jarfile. I have searched the error.

This is on windows XP SP3 as well.

  Steps to reproduce:

  Step 1: open the sikuli IDE
  Step 2: click on take screenshot or any actions

  expected : IDE should perform the selected action.

  observed : IDE is closing

  environment : win XP professional with service pack 3

  Pls find the attached zip file which contains the video of the same
