[Bug 1016426] Re: Ubuntu 11.04: Sikuli-ide crashes when interacted with

-- Is there a way to turn on all the debug messages or build a debug version
Yes, there is some possibility, to make Sikuli more verbose. But to find out, you have to look into the sources and make some tests.
-> org.sikuli.script.Debug.java

BTW: I just managed to get an Ubuntu 12.04 64-Bit running on one of my Mac-Minis. Someone (I do not know who, since I do not have any experience with this Ubuntu staff) has made up a Sikuli-IDE Ubuntu package that can be installed here.
It just installs all prereqs and runs with the latest stuff (OpenCV 2.3, Tesseract 3.0 (seems to still have a problem with the language files) and the JRE from OpenJDK 6.
And the best of all: it works ;-)

Title:
  Ubuntu 11.04: Sikuli-ide crashes when interacted with

Status in Sikuli:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I've just install Sikuli on a new Ubuntu 11.04 system via it's zip
  file along with it's needed dependencies. Sikuli-ide starts up as
  expected. However as soon as I interact with the ide, e.g. select an
  item in a menu (Open) or even attempt to close the window it freezes \
  crashes and becomes completely unresponsive.

  I'm thinking it might be a dependency issue but as I say I've
  installed the required ones already.

  Any help would be brilliant. Cheers!
