[Bug 1053904] Re: Ubuntu 12.04: take screenshot is not working
Woouuw :-)
I just finally managed to get an Ubuntu 12.04 64-Bit running natively on
one of my Mac-Minis (with help from Google of course ;-)
Someone has made up a package Sikuli-IDE, that can be installed from the
SoftwareCenter (UbuntuSoftware) and sets up the prereqs with the newest
stuff: OpenCV 2.3, Tesseract 3 (but still a problem with the language
files) and the JRE from OpenJDK 6.
And the best of all: It really works :-)
So you should check, wether this is available in the 32-Bit world too -
since this would really fit to 12.04 and is much easier than to build it
yourself.

Title:
Ubuntu 12.04: take screenshot is not working
Status in Sikuli:
New
Bug description:
Hi,
I am working on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS, 32-bit and the sikuli version is the latest (sikuli X 1.0rc3).
I have downloaded the source directly from sikuli.org.
I have installed openCV 2.1 , libcv 2.1 , libhighgui 2.1 , tesseract 2.04 , libcvaux 2.1 and JRE 6.
As soon as i press 'take screenshot' icon on the sikuli-ide all the
open windows disappear and all i get is the desktop. So I am only able
to take screenshot of the icons on the desktop and not of any
application.
Can anybody help me out here!!
