RaiMan proposed the following answer:
the .exe is not working in many situations ;-) (just a runner wrap
around for the java execution of sikuli-ide.jar)

The sikuli-ide.bat has more options to modify (which is trivial).

Another easy option to run scripts is:

java -jar path-to-sikuli-script.jar path-to-your-script.sikuli

works fine having a standard working Sikuli X installation.
