Title:
Unable to dragDrop from host to VMware Fusion VM (timing)
Status in Sikuli:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Dragging and dropping on the host machine appears to work fine.
However, if I try to drag from a VMware virtual machine window to the
host desktop, the dragDrop command does not appear to execute
successfully. Something about the clicking mechanism in the dragDrop
method does not work in the virtual machine window. However, regular
click() commands appear to work fine.
Occurred on:
- iMac 2.8GHz Core2Duo host running Mac OS X 10.6.2
- Sikuli 0.9.8
- VMware Fusion (2.0.6) virtual machine running WinXP guest OS
Steps to repro:
- Launch VMware Fusion virtual machine
- Launch Sikuli
- Create new Sikuli script
- Enter dragDrop() command with image references as follows:
- dragDrop(<image reference in guest>, <image reference on host>)
