You might have a look at Sikuli Java API (http://code.google.com/p
/sikuli-api/), which works with javacv (a java based interface to
OpenCV), which would allow, to implement some pre-/post-processing to
your images (would be possible with Sikuli X on the Java level too, but
much more complicated, since you would have to implement the JNI
interface to the OpenCV stuff yourself).

But if you are willing to spend money on automated GUI testing: http://www.testplant.com
They have features in your direction.
