... sounds like you are using The Jython scripting level
If this is true: adding such features is rather easy, by simply adding some functions, that wrap the click and other methods.

def myClick(target, region = None):
     if not region: region = SCREEN
     region.click(target)
     # now do whatever you want

usage:
reg = myClick(some_image)
myClick(some_other_image, reg.left(100))

If you tell me, what and how you want to report, I can put it on the request list.

BTW: You might as well add your features on the Java level and use them
in the Jython scripts.
