RaiMan proposed the following answer:
as far as I know:
it is not possible manually to select more than one entry in a drop down by using this approach (typing the starting characters of an entry)
... hence it is not possible with Sikuli as well

So again: if you have a working manual approach, to select multiple
entries, you have to implement a simulating workflow with Sikuli
features. from experience using keyboard actions with step counting is
most promising.

Nevertheless: dropdowns besides menues are the most challenging things
with Sikuli ;-)
