Ok, thanks, got the log.

I guess the problem is your locale, which allows non-ASCII characters in
file names.

Try the following:
Before going to Preview, save the current script.
Try 2 versions:
--1 filepath to saved script contains non-ASCII characters
--2 filepath to script only has ASCII characters

The problem seems to be only with new scripts not yet saved.
Again sending me the log file(s) would be helpful.
