So, I am using apples and oranges?  Thanks for the clarification, that
is good to know.

 I suppose I should define my region as

      rTCRC = wTCRC 
instead of 
      rTCRC = Region(App.focusedWindow())

then the "try:" should catch the error and continue on, right?
