This is a known and documented restriction for the usage of RC3.

Either use Java 6 or with to version 1.0.1

Bug description:
  sikuli script not running if jre 1.7 Update is installed in user
  system. This makes the sikuli api useless to use with selenium
  webdriver to automate java applet Application.

  I have an java applet based file upload application. I was planning to use sikuli with selenium webdriver. My application runs in
  jre 1.7 Latest Update, but sikuli is not working if I am having jre 1.7 latest Update installed in my machine.

  This is a severe BUG in sikuli which makes this great tool totally
  useless.

  OS: Windows 7 32 bit.
  JRE Version: jre 1.7 update 51
