[Question #248704]: Sikuli in the cloud/headless machine

New question #248704 on Sikuli:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/248704

Hi,

I am currently involved with a research project with a large telecom company from Sweden that are evaluating Sikuli to automate their system testing. They have hit a problem in setting up their tool since their test environment is cloud-based, which makes it more or less equivalent to a headless system. Previous answers about the use of Sikuli on headless machines state that it is not possible without a virtual environment or by using a VNC solution. However, those answers are a bit dated so my question is simply if there has been any updates to the tool that allows it to be run in the cloud and/or on headless machines?

(Question for RaiMan) If not, what effort would be required to add such functionality to the tool? I read that Sikuli checks that a monitor is attached to the computer during initialization. Would it be possible to add a flag to the command prompt run command for Sikuli to disable this check or would it require more complex changes to the tool?

Thank you in advance for your answers.
