This is how it should be.

The general revision of the App class is on the list for later this year.
One of my goals is to get rid of as much native code as possible.

The challenge is, that this is heavily system (family) dependent, so the
effort is 3+-fold plus the needed knowledge of the system specific low
level functions to be used.

But be sure, I am motivated ;-)
